When I last left you, I was still a weary hermit, unvaccinated, and pessimistic.

I'm here to inform you that only one of those things has changed in the last 7 months.

Anyway, long story short, nothing has changed on the travel front.

I have not left the good 'ol USA in 3 years and it shows.

And being realistic, it looks like that may continue for another year or so.... So....

....instead of being bummed out (as per usual), I am taking the high road and I am booking up the summer with small trips and partaking in the "Yes, (wo)Man" movement.

South Carolina for a girls' weekend?

Inviting myself to a Poconos weekend with my sister's friend group

who are so much cooler?

Wedding festivities celebrating college frands?

other things that may pop up that I don't know about / haven't been invited to yet . . . ;)

So as you can see, all of these engagements means that I am having a

"hot girl summer" to make up for lost time.

or with my current physique and location temperature: plump cheug inferno.
